A bright, modern coffee shop serving great coffee, delicious bagels, juices and smoothies, with a relaxed coffee lounge upstairs a few doors along.
If you want to take your time over your coffee, head for Urban Kitchen Upstairs. What a great place to hang out! Take your pick and lounge in the red leather sofa and armchairs, perch on a pew or maybe join a group of friends round a scrubbed pine table for an all-day english breakfast. The staff are cheerful and really helpful. The upstairs rooms are also open Wednesday to Saturday evenings for a chilled beer, wine or coffee.
Urban Kitchen serve coffee from Coffee Real, www.coffeereal.co.uk a local roastery who take great pride and care in sourcing their coffees, then hand roasting the beans in small batches. A selection of their single estate coffees is available to try upstairs, something I have not come across before in a coffee lounge.
