Kaffeine, 66 Great Titchfield Street, London W1

Brilliant coffee, fresh inspired food, friendly service and a buzzy atmosphere, Kaffeine has it all.
Situated just off Oxford Street, this independent Australian/New-Zealand owned little coffee bar has a Synesso espresso machine and boy, do they know how to use it! Simply the best latte I have ever tasted. When we visited, they were using Square Mile Winter Espresso Blend coffee. There was a lively buzz as we went in and what really struck us was the friendliness of the staff. Service was amazingly quick and both the coffee and the Souk Lamb Foccacia were so delicious I didn’t know what to have first! Forget the weak, dreary lattes found in so many bigger chains, this one had a real depth of flavour, yet was silky smooth.
Kaffeine won the Best Independent Café 2010 at the Allegra European Coffee Symposium in Rome. Their weekly menu can be found on their website.
