The Camera Cafe – 44 Museum St, Bloomsbury, London WC1A 1LY
Tuesday, October 26th, 2010
The Camera Cafe is located very close to the British Museum. Part camera shop, part cafe, this is a brilliant place to view the cameras and lenses on offer and to sip on a coffee whilst browsing the internet (free WiFi is available). The Camera Cafe also offers some very tasty Vietnamese food along with the usual baguettes and paninis.
In the back of the cafe there is a cosy little den where fairy lights hang from the ceiling. Vintage photographs line the walls and you can pick up a book to read or have a game of Scrabble or chess! Downstairs you will find a function room and the toilets.
Now… onto the coffee! This is good, though not fantastic. The focus here isn’t specifically on coffee but more on providing a really good place to hang out. I would definitely recommend a visit!
Note: The cafe is closed on Sundays, open Saturdays noon until 7pm, weekdays 11am to 7pm.
